We are looking for an engaged and strategically oriented project manager who wants to contribute to the development of the future's local supply. In this role, you will have a central position in a dynamic and politically governed organization where you are responsible for driving complex local projects from the initial idea to the finished result. Through your work, you strengthen our ability to plan, develop, and manage premises and properties in an efficient and sustainable manner.

As a project manager, you are responsible for:

  • Leading larger and smaller local projects as a representative of the Government Offices.
  • Leading and coordinating various project, reference, and user groups in different project phases; needs analysis, feasibility study, operational program, interior design planning, implementation, functional and quality control, and closure.
  • Being responsible for the needs analysis and feasibility study report that serves as the basis for further decisions and continued work.
  • Participating in the property owner's development and maintenance projects as a representative of the Government Offices as a tenant.
  • Being responsible for orders to landlords, primarily to the National Property Board.
  • Both leading and participating in procurement of suppliers and consultants, being responsible for orders and participating in contract follow-up.
  • Contributing to the development of governing documents for requirements in construction projects, e.g., guidelines for workplace design, room functions, technical (physical) work environment, accessibility, and other relevant technical and functional requirements.
  • Analyzing, evaluating, and drawing conclusions from various local supply solutions.
  • Being responsible for scheduling, budgeting, and continuous economic follow-up of projects, record-keeping, and monitoring and controlling deliveries.
  • Preparing decision-making materials, drafting PMs, and preparing cases.
  • Representing your own organization, informing, communicating, and contributing to fruitful collaborations and networks between various activities within the unit, department, the entire RK, property owners, and other external stakeholders.
  • Participating in ongoing work to develop working methods for project work.
  • Reporting to the section manager and the project's steering group.
  • Supporting colleagues and actively participating in the section's common tasks and activities, e.g., operational planning, meetings, and development work.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience leading projects in the local and property area, as well as experience in budgeting and economic follow-up and establishing and following up on schedules. Furthermore, you have the ability to deliver against set goals and results, as well as a good ability to coordinate and lead the team within the project. You are accustomed to continuously developing and improving routines and working methods for projects while being proactive and having a well-developed self-leadership. If you also have training as an architect, experience with contracts, procurement, purchasing, and public procurement, as well as having worked with project tools (IT systems, XLPM), we consider this an advantage. Experience with renovations during ongoing operations, as well as knowledge of accessibility and physical work environment, is also advantageous. It is also advantageous to have experience working with premises with security protection and fortification protection. Experience as a SAR or interior architect, SIR is an advantage for this role.

The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The position is classified in a security class, and a security review with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen but may have a foreign background.
